History

The Doctoral Study Program in Economics (DIE) is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of August 17, 1945 Surabaya. The academic operational activities of lectures carried out in this study program took place in 2000/2001. This activity took place after obtaining approval in 2019 based on the Minister of National Education based on decree number 205/DIKTI/Kep/2000. The Doctoral Study Program in Economics has received accreditation with predicate B which is in accordance with the decree of BAN-PT No. 1099 / SK / BAN-PT / Akred / D / IV / 2019 located at the University Campus August 17, 1945 Surabaya Jl. Semolowaru.

The Doctoral Study Program in Economics has several concentrations of specialization that students can choose from, including the concentration of Management, Economics, and Accounting. The three concentration specializations are followed up to make this program superior in the fields of management (human resources, marketing, strategic and finance), economics excels in producing economists in the fields of economics (development and people), and the fields of accounting (management and finance) as well as auditing with a global perspective and based on science and technology.

 

Vision, Mission, and Goals

The vision of the Doctoral Study Program in Economics is:

"The realization of a Doctoral Study Program in Economics that excels at the international level in the development of the fields of Economics, Management and Accounting based on the value and character of the nation in 2035".

The mission of the Doctoral Study Program in Economics is:

  1. Implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which refers to regional, national, and international higher education standards.

  2. Strengthening good governance of the Doctoral Study Program in Economics.

  3. Empowering the resources of the Doctoral Study Program in Economics and networking with domestic and foreign institutions to optimize the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

  4. Instilling and cultivating moral, academic, cultural and national character values for the academic community of the Doctoral Study Program in Economics.

Objectives of the Doctoral Study Program in Economics:

  1. Producing graduates of the Doctoral Study Program in Economics whose competence is recognized nationally and internationally.

  2. Produce scientific works in the fields of Economics, Management and Accounting whose quality is recognized nationally and internationally.

  3. Running good Governance of the Doctoral Study Program in Economics refers to national and international standard management.

  4. Have the advantage of Human Resources (HR) Doctoral Study Program Economics

  5. Empowered to strengthen the competence of the Doctoral Study Program in Economics.

  6. Having a network of cooperation that is able to optimize the achievement of the Vision, Mission of the Doctoral Study Program in Economics Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya.

  7. Having an academic community of the Doctoral Study Program in Economics with the identity of the values and character of the Indonesian nation.

 

VISI, MISI dan TUJUAN

Visi Program Studi Doktor Ilmu Ekonomi yaitu:

”Terwujudnya Program Studi Doktor Ilmu Ekonomi yang unggul di tingkat internasional dalam pengembangan bidang Ilmu Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Akuntansi yang berbasis nilai dan karakter bangsa pada tahun 2035”.

Misi

  1. Melaksanakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi dalam bidang Ilmu Manajemen dengan mengacu pada Standar    Pendidikan Nasional.

  2. Menanamkan nilai-nilai dan karakter bangsa serta menciptakan atmosfir akademik yang mendukung berkembangnya minat untuk menghasilkan     karya-karya ilmiah dalam bidang Ilmu Manajemen.

  3. Memberdayakan (empowering) sumberdaya Program Studi Sarjana Manajemen  serta menggalang      jejaring (networking) dengan institusi dalam negeri dan luar negeri untuk mengoptimalkan terselenggaranya    Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi dalam Bidang Ilmu Manajemen.

 

Tujuan Program Studi Doktor Ilmu Ekonomi:

  1. Menghasilkan lulusan Program Studi Doktor Ilmu Ekonomi yang kompetensinya diakui secara nasional maupun internasional.

  2. Menghasilkan karya-karya ilmiah dibidang Ilmu Ekonomi, Manajemen dan Akuntansi yang mutunya diakui secara nasional maupun internasional.

  3. Menjalankan Tata Kelola Program Studi Doktor Ilmu Ekonomi yang baik sekali mengacu pada pengelolaan berstandar nasional dan internasional.

  4. Memiliki keunggulan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) Program Studi Doktor

  5. Ilmu Ekonomi yang mampu diberdayakan untuk penguatan kompetensi Program Studi Doktor Ilmu Ekonomi.

  6. Memiliki jejaring kerjasama yang mampu mengoptimalkan tercapainya Visi, Misi Program Studi Doktor Ilmu Ekonomi Untag Surabaya.

  7. Memiliki civitas akademika Program Studi Doktor Ilmu Ekonomi yang beridentitas nilai dan karakter bangsa Indonesia.
